Spanish side Barcelona have unveiled their third kit that will be used for the coming 2020/21 League season in which Nigerian star Asisat Oshoala was among the players who modeled it.
The latest kit shown by Barcelona to their fans and football lovers around the world is in pink color which will be used for their away games.
The likes of Lionel Messi, Ansu Fati, De Jong and Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala were among the stars who wore the kit in the update Barcelona posted on their social media page.
”FC Barcelona’s 2020/21 third kit is driven by the vibrant colours of the city and its famous beach.
“The combination of pink and sea green conjures imagery of a Catalan sunrise, while both colours will evoke memories of much-loved past Barca kits,'' Barcelona stated on their official website.
Asisat Oshoala currently plays for Barcelona female team and the 25-year-old has been superb since she joined the side from Chinese side Dalian Quanjian.
The Nigerian started her football career at FC Robo in 2009 and was there until 2013 before making a move to Rivers United.
Oshoala spent three years with the Port Harcourt based team and it was her impressive performances that helped her secure big move to Liverpool Ladies in 2015.
She also played for Arsenal Ladies netting two goals before moving to the Chinese Super League side Quanjian.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala who currently plays for Barcelona's female team explained that her parents never wanted her to play football while growing up in Lagos.
Oshoala is among the best female strikers in the world considering what she has achieved since she started her football career on the streets of Ikorodu in Lagos.
Today, the 25-year-old Super Falcons' star has acquired so much money through football thanks to her superb goal-scoring skills on the pitch.
But the journey was not rosy for Oshoala due to the pressure she faced from her parents who only wanted her to focus on her studies.
