Memphis Depay is on his way to Barcelona as reports claim that a deal have been agreed to for the Lyon striker.
Ronald Koeman is looking to rebuild his team with the inclusion of the Netherlands star as Luis Suarez is heading for the exit door.
Lyon's manager Rudi Garcia has refused to stand in the way of the former Man United striker who scored 15 goals last term.
He told Telefoot: "I read the Catalan press this morning. They talk about Memphis.
"Memphis is a fantastic player and if he can play the season with Lyon, we will only be stronger.
"But like many of my players, if they have the opportunity to play in a club built to win the Champions League, and he's met a lot of them last season, I will personally take him in my car."
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas also revealed how Barca and Roma have struggled for Depay's signature.
Aulas said: "Memphis' contract is expiring. Koeman wants him at Barcelona, but there is also Roma in for the player."
The Netherlands international admitted he is happy with life in Ligue 1, but hinted he is open to new opportunities in the future.
Spanish news media outlet, La Vanguardia claim an offer has been accepted and personal terms will now be agreed to.
Depay has a year left on his contract and will become Koema's first signing if the deal goes through this summer.
He began his campaign on a promising note this season scoring a hat-trick in Lyon's 4-1 win over Dijon in their opening game.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that former Manchester United striker Memphis Depay has been reportedly identified as summer transfer target for Barcelona who want him to replace Luis Suarez.
Luis Suarez's future at Barcelona is gradually coming to an end following the embarrassing Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich.
New manager Ronald Koeman is currently trying to rebuild the team so that they can fight and win titles in the coming League season.
