Premier League giants Liverpool have reportedly demanded the sum of £15 million from Spanish side Barcelona for the signing of Dutch forward Georginio Wijnaldum.

Georginio Wijnaldum has been superb at Liverpool for the past four years and his current contract at Anfield remains just a year.

New Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman is trying to rebuild the team this summer and he is already targeting some players he wants to lure to the Nou Camp.

But cash-strapped Barcelona were hoping to land the 29-year-old midfielder for around £10 million.
