- Osimhen who joined Napoli from Lille has been impressive since his arrival
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has shown once again that he is in great form for Napoli ahead of their campaign in the coming season after scoring two superb goals in training.
At the 2019/20 Serie A season, Napoli finished as seventh best on the final table thereby failing to qualify for the Champions League in the coming season.
The club's chiefs decided to enter into the transfer market so as to bolster their squad ahead of the new season in which Victor Osimhen is one of their signings.
Osimhen made history with his move to Napoli considering the fact that he is now the highest paid African professional footballer.
He was in great form while playing for French side Lille and the Nigerian is now showing Napoli fans what they should expect from him in the coming season.
Nigerian sports reporter Colin Udoh who posted the video of Osimhen's two goals on his official page was amazed with how he scored the second goal.
Colin even asked rhetorically whether the Nigerian striker used voodoo to score the brilliant goal.
Osimhen started his career with Ultimate Strikers Academy before his eye-catching performances at the 2015 U17 World Cup spurred Bundesliga side Wolfsburg to sign him in 2017.
He only played 12 games in Germany before moving to Belgian First Division A club Sporting Charleroi permanently in 2019.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Africa's most expensive player Victor Osimhen made a statement for himself since he made his mega-money deal move to Napoli this summer.
The 21-year-old grabbed his first hat-trick for the Partenopei in just eight minutes of their preseason encounter with L'Aquila.
His goals came in the first, third and eighth minutes of their test game and manager Gennaro Gattuso wants the fans to be patient with the youngster.
The Super Eagles forward stepped out for the first time in a Napoli shirt in two 45-minute matches, and left the fans chanting his name after his superb performance in the game.
