- Arthur who is living his dreams playing with Ronaldo however admits Messi is the greatest
Arthur Melo is delighted to join Italian giants Juventus and he is already having his dream come true playing alongside legendary Cristiano Ronaldo.
The impressive midfielder was swapped with Pjanic who moved the other way, but has gone into self-isolation after testing positive for the dreaded coronavirus immediately he arrived Barcelona.
While he was being presented to the media on arrival at Juventus, Arthur said, via GOAL: "I have had the privilege of playing with great players. Playing with Ronaldo is almost the realisation of a dream."
While the Messi debacle continues in Barcelona, Arthur had in 2019 disclosed how Messi helped him to settle at Barcelona and claimed that the Argentine is the greatest.
He told Globoesporte: "Honestly I didn't expect it. He's a guy I admire and, in my opinion and many other people's, he's the best player in history."
Meanwhile, Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has reportedly agreed to terms to join Barcelona this summer.
The Dutchman has been linked with the Catalans since the arrival of his national team coach at Camp Nou last month.
Ronald Koeman was hired as a replacement for Quique Setién following the Blaugrana's 8-2 humiliation in their Champions League quarterfinal clash against Bayern Munich.
However, the 57-year-old tactician is hoping he can lure Wijnaldum to Barca having entered the final year of his deal with the Reds.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Lionel Messi's father Jorge and Barcelona chiefs had one on one meeting on Wednesday evening, September 2, on the future of the six-time Ballon d'Or award winner which ended stalemate.
This means that Jorge and Barcelona chiefs were unable to reach final conclusion on the future of Lionel Messi who has been linked with a move away from Nou Camp.
The Argentina international submitted a transfer request after Barcelona's ouster in the Champions League losing against Bayern Munich.
