The Los Blancos winger was spotted chatting with his colleagues as well as showing off his flowing locks despite his row with Zidane in the past season.
The 31-year-old is deemed surplus to requirements by the Madrid manager, but is happy to see out the remainder of his £650,000-a-week contract which expires in the summer of 2022.
Bale played just 100 minutes of their previous 12 games after the three-month break that saw a win for the La Liga title from Barcelona.
Wales will take on Finland in Helsinki on Thursday, September 3, and Bulgaria at the Cardiff Stadium in their UEFA nations League double header.
