Sevilla who are the reigning Europa League champions have announced the signing of Croatia international Ivan Rakitic from rivals Barcelona on a four-year deal.
Ivan Rakitic will now be returning to Sevilla after spending six years with Barcelona winning the Spanish La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League titles with the Catalans.
His exit at the Camp Nou came following the decision of new Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman who has told some players to find new club this summer.
Rakitic played for Sevilla between 2011-2014 before he made a glorious move to Barcelona then where he won all titles.
Before leaving Sevilla, Ivan Rakitic was already a Europa League winner and it is only the World Cup title that is missing in his cabinet.

Ivan Rakitic will be leaving the Camp Nou with great memories after making 310 appearances in which he scored 35 goals and 42 assists for Barcelona in all competitions.
