A nine-year-old boy, Jordan, in the US who has been in a foster home for six years, has suddenly received thousands of adoption requests after his emotional video went viral.

In the video, Jordan in speaking with the media, said that his three wishes are to have “Family, Family, Family”. It should be noted that he has been with the Oklahoma state’s department of human services’ care since 2014, Daily Mail reports.

Twelve hours after his emotional video hit the internet, inquiries about him poured in from all over as people showed a great interest to adopt him.

In speaking with KFOR, the 9-year-old boy revealed that his younger brother, Braison, was adopted in 2019, saying he wishes to have his own family too.

“The reason it’s important is because so I could have some people to talk to anytime I need to, Jordan said in the clip. "I hope one of y’all pick me,” he said.

Daily Mail added that the child care department had to work overtime to handle the overwhelming calls and respond to emails asking about the boy.

A worker with the department, Christopher Marlowe, said that in the past families who wanted to adopt him backed out after they had full disclosures.
