It isn't every day you get to meet someone brave enough to take on a man-eating great white shark. Today we get to meet Mark Rapley, the man who punched the deadly beast multiple times and incredibly enough, he lives to tell the story.
Mark and his wife Chantelle Doyle were enjoying a good surf session at a popular New South Wales beach in Australia when Chantelle suddenly became the victim of a shark attack.
According to a Daily Mail article, the 35-year old woman was attacked by the shark on her right calf and back of her thigh.

Her brave husband, Mark, quickly sprung into action by jumping on top of the shark and punching it a number of times, forcing it to let go of his wife's already damaged leg.
According to the article, Mark placed his wife on her surfboard while he kept the sharp-toothed animal at bay with his punches. A witness who had spoken to The Daily Telegraph, Jed Toohey, described seeing Mark put his wife upon his board before punching the shark and had this to say:
"He saved her life. It would have been strong enough to take her out to sea. He was really incredible."
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital and will be undergoing surgery on her leg, which received a number of serious lacerations.

In other news, South Africans are coming to love popular Good Samaritan Bi Phakathi for his many examples of benevolence.
Legit.ng had reported that Bi Phakathi had previously come across two homeless men and blessed them abundantly.
Upon hearing that they had little food to eat, Phakathi treated them with lunch and bought groceries. On Thursday, Phakathi shared another touching video via his Facebook page and Legit.ng noted that it's been viewed nearly 500,000 times.
