Barcelona icon Ronaldinho was said to have breached his house arrest rules after hosting parties in his luxurious four-star hotel in Asuncion.
The 40-year-old has been under heavy security watch since he was granted partial freedom by Paraguay authorities.
He was arrested in March after being accused of using fake documents to gain entry into the South American country.
He spent about one month in prison, but was granted partial freedom in April having paid over $1 million for bail.
The former World Cup winner who has been staying at the four-star Palmaroga Hotel will be kept under the watch of the police until court hears his case on August 24 as reported by SunSport.
Meanwhile, Marca quoting Paraguayan paper HOY reveals the retired footballer broke the terms of his arrest by hosting parties in his apartment.
Reports claim that some women were given presents and beverages at the party: "I think they are models because they all have the looks.
"Those who are known enter directly into the car park, whereas those who are unknown get out in front of the hotel and then a car picks them up."
The former AC Milan star and his brother Roberto de Assis Moreira were arrested and subsequently sent to jail for allegedly trying to enter Paraguay with a fake passport.
He spent his 40th birthday in prison, but was given the privilege to celebrate with a barbecue.
After spending 32 days in jail, he was released and put under house arrest until his trial. Reports claim the pair were only released after paying a huge £1.3million bond.
