Kostas Tsimikas has reportedly arrived in England to complete an £11.75m move to Premier League champions Liverpool.
The Greek defender helped Olympiakos secure their 45th league title and the 24-year-old has been one of the best players in the club last campaign.
Tsimika featured in the Europa League as his side dumped Arsenal out of the competition in the last 32 but were knocked out by another Premier League side Wolves in the round of 16.
Liverpool want a back-up for Andy Robertson in their left-wing back and after being unable to agree on a fee for Norwich City star Jamal Lewis, they have turned their attentions to the Greek star.
Tsimika has been on Liverpool's radar for a long time as they believe he can develop into a world-class left-back and his value can rise in the current economic climate.
It is understood that the player has arrived at Liverpool for a medical and to discuss personal terms.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Aissa Mandi has become a summer target for Liverpool after the club sold Dejan Lovren to Zenit St Petersburg, reports claim.
The Reds secured their first Premier League title in 30 years and a couple of players have been let off the hook.
And according to BeinSports the deal is close, with the Reds having tabled a £9million bid for the Real Betis center-back.
Legit.ng also reported that Alisson Becker has made a U-turn on how he now looks after shaving off his entire trademark beards while holidaying with his family.
The Liverpool goalkeeper was spotted without his regular beards as he suns himself on the Italian island in Sardinia with his wife and kids.
The 27-year-old had earlier posted a photo of his one-year-old son Matteo and daughter Helena, three at the seaside with his bushy beard.
