Nigerian football star Kelechi Iheanacho has been named as Leicester City's best penalty taker by his teammates Christian Fuchs and Wilfred Ndidi.
The Super Eagles forward joined the Foxes in the summer of 2017 from Manchester City and has since then scored 20 and assisted 12 other goals in the process.
He scored a total of 10 goals and four assists across competitions in the recently concluded season for the King Power Stadium outfit.
However, the attacker has been able to master the art of converting the sport kick that he has not missed any since his arrival three years go.
When asked about who the best penalty taker in the team was by Fuchs, Ndidi pointed at his countryman.
“Kelechi’s never missed a penalty. I’ve never seen him miss a penalty,” to which Fuchs agreed.
Ayoze Perez, relatively new at the club, was surprised about the choice of Iheanacho, but Fuch and Ndidi quickly point to him that the Nigerian forward is the best in the business.
“You’ve not seen him? He never misses,” before Fuchs added: “He’s unbelievable. The best penalty taker I’ve seen.”
Although Jamie Vardy remains the first choice taker for the club and has taken 17 of 21 spot-kicks awarded to the Foxes, scoring 14.
Legit.ng earlier reported Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi has stated that constrictive criticisms from his friends and especially his wife have made him become a better player, Complete Sports reports.
The Leicester City midfielder joined the Premier League club from Belgian Pro League club Genk in January 2017 and has earned his place in the starting line-up.
His impressive performances have attracted top European clubs including to Real Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal who are all jostling for his signature.
