Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly considering to sell Jorginho in a bid to fund Declan Rice's move this summer.
The 28-year-old has a deal with the Blues until 2023 but he appears to be one of the players Frank Lampard is likely to offload before the start of a new campaign.
Although they have already completed the signing of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, they are not done in the transfer market just yet.
SunSport quoting The Telegraph claims the Stamford Bridge outfit will use the funds from Jorginho's sale fund Rice's deal.
Despite making 31 appearances in the Premier League for the Blues' last campaign, Lampard doesn't seem to have him in his plan next term.
Meanwhile, Chelsea former boss Maurizio Sarri has been tipped to reunite with his former player at the Allianz Stadium.
Jorginho's agent Joao Santos admitted his client is open to the move after saying: "Sarri has never called Jorginho personally to talk about Juventus.
"I know there's talk in the papers, but we have never had direct contact with Sarri or even director of sport Fabio Paratici.
"Everyone knows there is a very strong rapport between Sarri and Jorginho after five years working together, I'd be a hypocrite to deny that, but I also want to remind you that Jorginho has three years left on his Chelsea contract."
FA Cup finalists are eyeing a move for West Ham United's star who has been priced for a sum of £70 as they hope they can push the prospective buyers away with the tag.
Legit.ng earlier reported that West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has emerged as a summer transfer target for Premier League side Chelsea who are ready to splash the cash on the 21-year-old.
Declan Rice has been superb for West Ham United this season even though they are currently fighting to escape relegation this term in the English topflight.
Rice actually started his football career at Chelsea academy before he was released at the age of 14 and went on to become a superstar elsewhere.
