Social media is a place that things unfold no matter how long it has been kept under wraps. Many times, people have found good fortune on the internet and also disgrace.
It is no longer news that the lives of many have changed on social media especially if they go viral for interesting reasons. However, just like its usual fashion, trends fade and these former viral things get forgotten.
Just recently, Nigerian comedian and social media influencer, Mr Jollof, took to social media to react to a new video of the school girl who went viral a year ago, Success Adegor.
The comedian was one of the celebs who took up Success’ matter at the time as he showed his willingness to help and change their lives forever.
Reacting to how things unfolded with the family, Mr Jollof described them as being ungrateful.
According to him, he personally gave Success’ mother N100,000 and he also went to her school with her parents and other family members to pay her school fees.
Mr Jollof said that he is sure her mother would have been given at least N1 million from people who decided to help them at the time and he asked if that money was not enough to change their lives.
The comedian expressed anger that Success described their benefactors as ‘promise and fail’ after labelling their goodwill as fake. He said they were only looking to tarnish people’s image.
In the caption of the video, Mr Jollof wrote: “Na the day them do good for poor person na them know !!! Success and her parent are just ungrateful. I am aware @iam_otunba02 gave her money as well.”

The comedian was however questioned by people in the comment section who reminded him that he had actually promised to sponsor Success to university level. Another also said that Mr Jollof had also said that he would make sure Success attends the same school as his children.
To that, the social media personality replied that Success’ mother stopped picking his calls after she started getting attention from other big men and top officials.

This came shortly after Legit.ng reported that Success opened up on the numerous fake promises of Nigerians to her family after she went viral a year ago.
Little Success tagged them as ‘promise and fail’ as she claimed that everyone who visited their house at the time did not give them what was promised.
The young girl said the same individuals posted their promises on social media and gave the impression that her family has become rich from everything that was given to them.
