God will make you suffer if you’re a leader stealing from your people - Tekno

- Talented Nigerian singer, Tekno, has taken to social media to share his take on corrupt leaders and the punishment awaiting them

Corruption is an issue that seems to be quite prevalent in the Nigerian society and it has become a topic of discourse for concerned citizens.

Many times, leaders in Nigeria are regarded as corrupt but this does not seem to have changed the status of things.

Just recently, talented Nigerian singer, Tekno, took to his verified Twitter page to lament about the state of the nation at the hands of corrupt leaders.

The music star complained about country’s leaders who steal from the people and do not even consider making things better with the stolen funds.

Tekno used the opportunity to let such leaders known what is in stock for them. According to the Pana crooner, leaders who steal from the people and do not even help them at all will receive suffering from God in ways that money cannot help them.

He wrote: “If u a leader in this country stealing from your people and just can’t give back small to the people.. God will make u suffer in ways money can’t fix.”

Just recently, Legit.ng reported that another Nigerian singer, Harrysong, took to social media to condemn the recent happenings in the country.

Harrysong shared a video on his Instagram page in reaction to the ongoing NDDC drama where the acting chairman of the commission, Professor Kemebradikumo Pondei, passed out while he was being cross-questioned by lawmakers at the hearing.

Pondei was one of the top officials of the NDDC fingered in the alleged N40 billion fraud.

In reaction to the drama, Harrysong said that it was not a laughing matter that people should make comedy skits about. According to him, people in power were mentioning big amounts that they had stolen and continued to steal even though the country is in great debt.
