Premier League side Leicester City are reportedly planning to sell Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho this summer after four years that the 23-year-old joined the Foxes.
At the just concluded 2019/20 Premier League season, Leicester City were unable to finish among the top four on the final table, but they will play in the Champions League.
Iheanacho who joined the Foxes from Manchester City had lack of active playing time last season as he was unable to beat Jamie Vardy for the starting lineup.
The signing of Ayoze Perez from Newcastle United also affected the progress of Kelechi Iheanacho at Leicester City last season.
But despite all the challenges Kelechi Iheanacho faced last term at Leicester City, the Nigerian was still able to play 26 games in all competition and scored 10 goals.
According to the report on Complete Sports, Leicester City are targeting Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard and they need to sell Iheanacho to raise money for his signature.
The club's chiefs want Edouard to provide good cover up for first choice striker Jamie Vardy in their campaign next season in the Europa League.
Edouard was impressive for Celtic last season scoring 21 goals and provided 12 assists in 27 games for the Scottish side.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho maybe leaving Leicester City this summer as Aston Villa and West Brom are reportedly in serious race to sign the Super Eagles star.
At the recently concluded Premier League season won by Liverpool, Kelechi Iheanacho struggled at Leicester City as Jamie Vardy was the number one choice.
And the England international even finished the Premier League season as the highest goal-scorer winning the golden boot.
After struggling to score goals last season and also escaped relegation, Aston Villa are looking for new striker who will help them next season in the Premier League.
They see Kelechi Iheanacho as a player who would help them in all their campaign and they will make their offer when the transfer window open.
