A story shared by @LifeofKan recently left many people amused as what should have been merrymaking between friends turned out embarrassing for one party.

According to the gist, a friend was invited over to celebrate Sallah but ended up stealing an Apple Watch belonging to his host's father. The act was caught on their CCTV camera and he eventually was taken away by the police.

"Some of you are very mannerless and don’t have sense. How can your friend invite you to his house to come and celebrate Sallah with him, offered you drink, food and meat and the only way to repay him was stealing his Dad’s Apple Watch. Nawa.

They caught him on their CCTV x He didn’t even leave the compound before they embarrassed him. That’s how the police took him away," the post reads.

Well, in the break-in story currently trending on social media, things took a pretty interesting turn when the thief stole more than just electronic properties.

According to Twitter user Peter Ameh who shared the story, the thief stole two TV sets, a decoder among other things. However, he didn't stop there as he went on to steal the supposed guard dog as well.

Meanwhile, a video of Mompha, and Adedamola Adewale popularly known as Adeherself, currently trending online has led many to believe the two might just become really good friends following their experience with the EFCC over fraud allegations.

In the video, an excited Adeherself is seen hugging the Bureau de Change operator after he paid her a visit at her home where she resides with her family.
