Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was left red-faced after he accidentally dropped the FA Cup trophy during wild celebrations at the Wembley Stadium.

Aubameyang emerged match hero for the Gunners during the tense final against Chelsea on Saturday, August 1.

The Gabonese hit-man struck twice to render Christian Pulisic's opener for the Blues a mere consolation as Arsenal won their record 14th FA Cup title.

Pulisic had handed the west London side an early lead before Aubameyang levelled matters on the stroke of half time.

He went on to produce a sensational finish in the second half to seal a famous win for Mikel Arteta's men.

But as the north London outfit was handed the trophy, Aubameyang firstly struggled to have a strong grip with the cup as he took it from the plinth.

Bemused and confused, the former Dortmund star tried to lift it up with several attempts before he eventually managed to get hold of it.

However, it was after then he had an embarrassing moment, with the forward dropping the trophy as his teammates lined up in readiness to celebrate.

The embarrassing moment left the Arsenal contingent in shock as the 31-year-old went on to collect it before proudly lifting it into the air.

Arteta on Saturday evening, August 1, recorded his name in the history books by steering Arsenal to win the English FA Cup beating Chelsea in the final.

Arsenal started the encounter impressively, but the Blues took the lead at the Wembley stadium before Gabonese striker Aubameyang scored twice to give the Gunners the win.
