The Nigeria Police Force have released the next steps to take for those who successfully applied for the recent vacancies announced by the security outfit.
This phase, the police say, is the updating of applicants' data on their recruitment web portal.
According to a post shared by the Police Public Relations Department on their social media pages on Friday, July 31, applicants have to log on to the police website www.policerecruitment.gov.ng and carry out the following steps:
1. Enter your National Identity Number (NIN) in the space provided.
2. Supply required details to update your record.
3. Upload scanned copies of the following
a. 0' Level Result(s)
b. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
c. Certificate of Origin
4. Check the consent box and click submit.
5. Print Confirmation slip and take note of your Application Reference ID
6. Download and print Guarantor's form
Anyone who has complaints or technical difficulties can call 08100004507 or send a mail to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The new phase starts today, Friday, the police message said.
Legit.ng reported earlier that the Nigeria Police on Saturday, July 11, announced that they have started accepting applications across the country for the recruitment of constables.
The announcement was made by the police spokesperson, Frank Mba, in a statement.
Meanwhile, in separate news, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, in a bid to provide security throughout Nigeria during the Eid-el Kabir celebrations, issued an order to commissioners in all the 17 zonal commands of the country.
In a statement by Force spokesman, Frank Mba made available to Legit.ng, the IGP directed the commissioners and their respective Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) to carry out "intensive confidence building patrols in all nooks and crannies of the country."
