- The Super Falcons veteran defender becomes the third player to join The She-Wolf
- Ohale spent last season at Real Madrid Femenino scoring two goals in 15 appearances for the Spanish side
Italian League giants AS Roma Women have completed the signing of Super Falcons defender Osinachi Ohale from Spanish side FC Tacon.
The four-time Africa Women Championship winner becomes the third player to join coach Betty Bavagnoli's side ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Ohale, 28, scored twice from her defensive position in 12 appearances for Real Madrid Femenino last campaign and her performances projected her for this new move.
Roma will be counting on the defender's experience next season having represented Nigeria at three World Cups in her career so far.
Meanwhile, she has played for Houston Dash in the United States before coming to Europe and representing both Vittsjo and Vaxjo in Sweden’s top division.
She got her career started in her country with Nigerian Women's Premier League Rivers Angels and Delta Queens - winning silverware with the two outfits.
“I decided to chose Roma because of so many things," she told the club's official website. "So many amazing things about the club, about this city and this country that interested me.
"So I felt like it would be a great thing for me, to explore and to experience new things and a new challenge.”
She added: "It's an interesting league. I’m ready to learn and do whatever. Obviously I am expecting an interesting league, more challenging and I think I will learn more and add more for my career.”
The 28-year-old defender will compete with the likes of Allyson Swaby and Tecla Pettenuzzo for a place in Bavagnoli's side.
Spanish forward Paloma Lazaro and Italian goalkeeper Rachele Baldi are the two stars who have been signed by the club.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Eberechi Eze could be settling for London club West Ham over other Premier League sides in the summer.
The Queens Park Rangers have been linked to several English top-flight division sides and the Hammers have stepped up their interest for the £20million rated midfielder.
The 22-year-old has attracted interests from Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and West Bromwich Albion following his outstanding season at Loftus Road.
