Lionel Messi's recent lashing at his Barcelona teammates has reportedly had a negative effect on the team ahead of their Champions League fixture with Napoli.

The Argentine was not happy with Barca's defeat to Osasuna resulting in Real Madrid winning La Liga on matchday 37.

According to Spanish news media outlet Diario GOL, three midfielders have fallen out with Messi and are ready to leave the club at the end of their Champions League campaign.

Arthur Melo who recently confirmed his exit from the Camp Nou to Juventus has refused to return to training from Brazil.

And club president Josep Maria Bartomeu is understood to resorting to taking legal action against the midfielder.

La Blaugrana's coach Quique Setien has not featured Arthur since he confirmed his exit to Juve with Miralem Pjanic moving in the opposite direction.

Arthur is understood to be unhappy with Mess's demands at the club and has looked elsewhere for a new challenge.

The 23-year-old wanted to stay with the Catalan giants but the current situation has made that impossible.

Ivan Rakitic is also reportedly unhappy with Messi as the Croatian midfielder is fed up situation at the club having being left on the bench in most parts of the season.

The next rebel is Arturo Vidal who was gradually sidelined for youngster Riqui Puig before the end the 2019-20 campaign.

And the arrival of Pjanic would further see the Chilean midfielder fall for the pecking order and Inter Milan has been suggested to be his next destination.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Lionel Messi has reportedly told Barcelona to sign Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa to replace under-fire manager Quique Setien, cited on The Sun.

The Argentine boss recently secured promotion for Leeds into the Premier League as his contract ends this season.

The 64-year-old is yet to discuss a new deal with his employers and Messi wants Barcelona to take advantage of the situation.
