Nigerian football star Odion Ighalo treated himself to a luxurious boat ride after helping Manchester United qualify for Champions League next season.

The 30-year-old joined the Red Devils on a six-month loan deal from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua earlier this year.

He became an instant hit for the Old Trafford side, scoring five goals and one assist across competitions so far - and could add to his tally in their campaign for the Europa League contention.

He wrote his name on the club's hall of fame after becoming the second player to score in his four competitive starts - the feat initially achieved by Jimmy Hanson in 1925.

The former Super Eagles attacker has now taken time off to enjoy a summer break before returning back to Old Trafford for the remainder of the season.

Ighalo, who has two goals in three Europa League appearances shared pictures of himself enjoying fresh air while listening to some Nigerian tunes.

While sharing some of the pictures from his adventure, he captioned it: "Jollof on the boat."

With his current deal set to expire in the winter of 2021, Ighalo would have the opportunity to taste Champions League action next campaign.
