- Cesc Fabregas is being lured by super-rich Qatari club Al-Gharafa for a summer move
- The 33-year-old enjoyed spells in the Premier League with Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona
- Fabregas is currently playing for Ligue 1 side Monaco and has two years left on his contract
Cesc Fabregas has been offered a massive take-home pay to end his career with Qatari club Al-Gharafa.
The Spanish midfielder is currently playing for Ligue 1 side Monaco after leaving Premier League club Chelsea in the summer of 2019.
But the former Barcelona star has failed to justify his £5.7million-a-year salary for the French club.
The 33-year-old has managed to feature for the club on 22 occasions without scoring as Monaco ended the season ninth on the league standings.
But the ex-Arsenal star has two years left on his contract with the Monte Carlo club and reports claim the Spaniard could join Al-Gharafa due to the financial crisis as a result of the pandemic.
According to French news media outlet France Football, the Qatari club have made enquiries about the 2010 World Cup-winning midfielder.
The Qatari club is being managed by ex-Chelsea Slavisa Jokanovic who already has former Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia and ex-Wolves, Crystal Palace midfielder Adlene Guedioura in his ranks.
On the other hand, Fabregas' wife Daniella Semaan hails from Leban and the midfielder could consider moving to the Middle East nation.
Al-Gharafa rivals Al-Sadd which is being managed by Barcelona legend Xavi who have already secured the services of ex-Arsenal star Santi Carzola.
And they ready to break the bank to lure the two-time European championships winner to the Gulf to compete for honours next season.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has recalled how he made a bad tackle on Nigerian legend Kanu Nwankwo when he newly joined Arsenal.
The Spaniard said he was trying to impress the stars he met at the north London side but his action got the ex-Super Eagles forward furious.
Fabregas joined the Gunners at the age of 16 in 2003 and he became one of their best players during his reign at the club.
