- The 22-year-old was in good form for Club Brugge last season scoring nine goals in 33 games
- Dennis who is rated at £18m is also wanted by Newcastle United, Manchester United and Wolves
Leeds United have set their sights on Club Brugge forward Emmanuel Dennis as a transfer target, according to reports in Belgium this week.
According to the report, Leeds United are ready to make a bid for the £18m-rated who is also wanted by Newcastle United, Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Premier League newcomers will look to move fast for the Nigerian star following recent comments by Club Brugge boss Philippe Clement.
Clement had in May told Belgium media that it was ‘very likely’ Dennis would leave the club this summer
Dennis has also missed multiple pre-season engagements this summer, although there is some confusion over a potential ankle injury being the reason.
The 22-year-old was in good form for Club Brugge last season scoring nine goals in 33 games include a brace against Real Madrid and a delightful finish against Manchester United.
It is clear he relishes playing against the bigger opponents.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that the owner of Premier League newcomers Leeds United football club Andrea Radrizzani has disclosed that the side are interested in signing AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paris-Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.
Radrizzani also hinted that the club did everything to sign the Swedish international Ibrahimovic in January before the player opted to go to Italy to join AC Milan.
Leeds United are celebrating promotion to the Premier League and will no doubt look to strengthen in the summer transfer market.
Although many would wonder if the club have the wherewithal to sign players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Edinson Cavani, the club owner insists that they will give it a try.
The club president however admitted that signing Edinson Cavani might be easier for them as the Uruguayan striker’s contract at Paris Saint-Germain ends this summer after seven years.
