Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of losing goalkeeper Sergio Romero who is said to be frustrated for Ole Solskjaer's refusal to drop David De Gea.

David De Gea who is Manchester United number one goalkeeper is currently not finding it rosy at Old Trafford and there have been many calls for Solskjaer to drop the Spaniard.

Many Manchester United fans are still livid with David De Gea over his errors which made the Red Devils lose against Chelsea in the FA Cup semifinal.

Even the club's legend Phil Neville blamed David De Gea for all the three goals United conceded against the Blues who will be facing Arsenal in the final.

But despite serious criticism, Manchester United gaffer Ole Solskjaer stuck by his man and was in goal in the 1-1 draw against West Ham United.

According to Metro, Solskjaer's decision not to change De Gea made Sergio Romero unhappy as the Argentine believes that he should have been given the chance.

So far this term, Sergio Romero has been the one in goal for Manchester United in Cup competitions before Solskjaer benched him for De Gea against Chelsea in FA Cup semifinal.

The 33-year-old has one more year left on his contract at Manchester United, but he wants to leave unless the Red Devils' chief give him number one position.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how David De Gea's errors have been the talking point in Man United's FA Cup loss to Chelsea but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has backed the Spaniard to bounce back.

The Norwegian boss admitted that the Red Devils' number one should have done better in the match that cost United a place in the FA Cup final.

Mason Mount's 25-yard effort beat De Gea to double Chelsea's lead and Olivier Giroud's earlier strike also had the Spanish shot-stopper questioned.

Solskjaer was also criticized after making five changes to his starting XI that beat Crystal Palace in mid-week, giving opportunities to Daniel James, Eric Bailly, Brandon Williams, Fred and Nemanja Matic.
