Earlier on, Legit.ng reported the news that a United States court has dismissed the case against Olalekan Ponle, a Nigerian big boy popularly known as Woodberry, accused of multi-million dollar wire fraud.
The news has since gone viral on social media, leaving many people stunned about the turn of things.
Currently trending at number 1 on Twitter is Woodberry as many people are reacting differently to the news.
Kemi Olunoyo had this to say about the new development: "#SurvivingHushpuppi What the dismissal of Woodberry's case means: The HushPuppi prosecutor will likely file another case against Woodberry in that case. Woodberry's alleged fraud proceeds went straight to a Bitcoin wallet, cannot be retrieved so the case was meaningless to them."

Meanwhile, the news of the arrest of a 22-year-old man identified as Kenneth Gift who was recently arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for alleged internet fraud, trended online.
According to reports shared to the Commission's official Instagram page, the University of Port Harcourt computer science undergraduate was arrested alongside his mother, Dorah Aninah and his girlfriend, Dandy Spice.
Also, social media celebrity and skit maker Adedamola Adewale Rukayat Adeherself is set to regain her freedom from the custody of EFCC after she was picked up some weeks ago over an alleged internet fraud case.
The skit-maker who received backlash on social media following her alleged involvement in internet scam was recently granted bail at the sum of N500k by an Ikeja special offence court.
