- Champions League's ticket is being fought for by Chelsea, Man United and Leicester
- These three teams need to get a win in their last game of the season in EPL to qualify
- Chelsea must not lose at home in their own duel against Wolves
Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester City are currently fighting for Champions League tickets with only one game left for these three teams to play this season in EPL.
Already, Liverpool have won the Premier League title for the 2019/20 season and the outcome of their last game of the season means nothing to them even if they lose 10-0.
Manchester City are occupying second position on the Premier League table and the Citizens have also secured their place in next season's UEFA Champions League.
The battle for third and fourth positions is now in the hands of Manchester United, Chelsea and Leicester City in which one of these three teams will have to settle for the Europa League.
However, we take a look at what these three teams can do for them to make the Champions League next season and we will first start with Chelsea.
Chelsea vs Wolves
Lampard and his wards will be at Stamford Bridge in their last game against Wolves in which a win or draw will qualify them for next season's Champions League.
But should they lose at home against Wolves, then the Blues will have to pray that Manchester United beat Leicester for them to qualify for UCL.
Leicester City vs Manchester United
This tie will no doubt be the biggest encounter on the last day considering what is involved in which these two teams need a win.
Solskjaer and his men need a win or draw to qualify for Champions League, but if they should lose at home, then they must pray for Wolves to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Foxes found themselves in this permutation based on their lackluster performances towards the end of the season as they would have picked Champions League ticket in flying style.
Rodgers and his wards must beat Manchester United at home to qualify for Champions League, but if they get a draw, then they must hope that Wolves beat Chelsea.
A defeat for Leicester City against Manchester United will make them finish the season as fifth best and qualify for Europa League.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Frank Lampard stated emphatically that there won't be any problem should Chelsea fail to qualify for next season's prestigious Champions League.
Champions League is arguably the most watched competition in Europe and many other parts of the world considering the excitement in the championship.
Any team that want to play in the Champions League must make sure they finish among the top four in their League for them to participate.
