Premier League giants Chelsea have reportedly been told by Spanish side Atletico Madrid that they will have to pay the massive sum of £110 million for them to have goalkeeper, Jan Oblak.

The 27-year-old Slovenian goalie is rated among the best goalkeepers in Europe considering his superb performances for Atletico Madrid during the 2019/20 La Liga season.

Atletico Madrid chiefs are aware that Jan Oblak is wanted by many clubs in Europe and they are demanding a world-record fee for the goalie.

According to the report by UK Sun, Chelsea have shown the most interest in the signing of goalkeeper Jan Oblak with Lampard interested in having him.

The Stamford Bridge landlords want Jan Oblak as replacement for embattled goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga who has not been impressive since joining the Blues.

But Chelsea will now have to bring out another massive amount this summer for them to have the chance to sign Jan Oblak.

Lampard remains unconvinced by Kepa and had dropped him from his starting line-up before the football season was suspended in March.

The 25-year-old has been given chances to impress since the restart, but Lampard is settled on wanting to bring in someone else.

With two games to end the season, Chelsea are currently occupying third position on the Premier League table with 63 points and they are hoping to get the Champions League ticket.
