Nigerians can start dreaming of a bright future according to a report by the medical journal The Lancet.
The Lancet in a report noted that by the end of the century, the world will be multipolar, with India, Nigeria, China, and the US the dominant powers.
The report, according to Sky News will be a result of falling death rates in the region and the rising number of women reaching child-bearing age.
It also noted that "populations in 23 countries, including Japan, Spain and Italy, are forecast to decline by more than half, according to the research, with another 34 countries, including China, seeing a drop of more than 25%."
The report also indicated that Africa is set to see the growth of more than three times its current population and this will translate into its economic powers.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that the world’s richest man, Jeff Bezos, has added a whopping $13 billion (N5,054,010,000,000) to his fortune on Monday, July 20, the largest wealth growth for an individual since Bloomberg Billionaires Index was created in 2012.
On the same day, Amazon’s shares jumped to 7.9%, the most it has been since December 2018, Bloomberg reports.
It should be noted that Bezos, the founder of Amazon, has had his fortune greatly increase from $74 billion in 2020 to $189.3 billion, despite the US economy being hit hard due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Legit.ng had also reported that a doctor in the US, Sandy Charles, and her husband, Theodore Nyama, have been honoured as some of the best doctors in America.

On her LinkedIn page, Sandy said that she is very grateful to receive the award with her husband as she called the achievement a blessing.
The partners were recognized by Charlotte Magazine as the 2020 top doctors in Charlotte. Sandy said that they had to move to the community five years ago.
