Paul Pogba has opened up on how he was bullied by senior Man United players including Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes.
The Frenchman came in through the ranks at Old Trafford and only managed to make three senior appearances under Sir Alex Ferguson before leaving for Juventus in 2012.
During a discussion with The Players Tribune, Pogba who has developed into a world class midfielder disclosed that he needed encouragement from former teammate Patrice Evra.
“I was very respectful to everyone, to you, to Rio, to Giggs, to everyone,” Pogba said on The Players’ Tribune.
"So you remember when Giggsy and Scholesy every training they kick me and I just look at them and stand up and I didn’t say anything but respect.
“So you told me ‘Paul if you let them kick you, you will start being the.. B... it starts with a B... of the team so you better wake up and change your attitude’.
“And the next day I just came in and…”
Evra finished off his sentence saying: “Monster.”
The Red Devils bought Pogba back to the Theatre of Dreams for £89million after making a name for himself winning four series A titles.
Presently the 26-year-old has struggled with injury problems in his few years at Old Trafford but has got his career back on track with the arrival of Bruno Fernandes.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Paul Pogba has aimed a slight dig at Josh King after the Bournemouth striker pulled his shirt during Man United's 5-2 win at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman and the Norwegian striker were teammates in the Red Devils academy a few years back before going their separate ways in 2012.
United continued their unbeaten run in all competitions after they outclassed relegation-threatened Bournemouth in their Premier League fixture over the weekend.
Legit.ng also reported that Former Manchester United star Paul Ince has suggested that Paul Pogba should be sold by the Red Devils as he feels the Frenchman is not interested in playing for the club again.
The 52-year-old Englishman is also of the opinion that Paul Pogba regrets returning to Manchester United and the best thing is for the club to sell him.
Pogba has been in and out this season for Manchester United and he has only played two games since he sustained an injury against Arsenal in September 2019.
