England international Eric Dier has ended long term speculation over his future at Premier League side Tottenham by signing new contract until the year 2024.
This latest development has now ended the talks of the 26-year-old joining Spanish champions Real Madrid this summer.
Before the start 2019/20 Premier League season began, Eric Dier was inked with a move away from Tottenham just because of his superb performances last term in the Champions League.
The Englishman was superb in Tottenham's Champions League campaign where they got to the final of the competition before losing against Liverpool.

He was also linked with a move away from Spurs during the January transfer window, but manager Jose Mourinho was able to convinced him to stay.
"I'm really happy to continue her and commit to this new journey we are on.
"There's still a lot of things I need to achieve here before it's over. My targets are very clear, I want to be one of the very best in my position in the Premier League.
"My clear objective and the manager's is to try and win trophies with this club. The manager's record and mentality and his mentality towards winning trophies was a big thing for me,'' Eric Dier told Spurs' official website.
Eric Dier has been playing for Tottenham since 2014 when he joined the side from Sporting CP and has scored 11 goals so far.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Jose Mourinho was caught on camera speaking to Bruno Fernandes and had a chuckle during Tottenham's 1-1 draw with Man United.
The Special One faced his former employers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and took the lead through Steven Bergwijn in the first half.
But Mourinho's fellow countryman Fernandes scored from a spot-kick won by substitute Paul Pogba as the game ended in a stalemate.
A few moments before Spurs conceded the penalty, Mourinho was spotted having a conversation with the Red Devils' midfielder, smirking afterward.
