Willian has stated that he is ready to sign a new contract with Chelsea football club if the Blues meet his demands of a fresh three-year contract.
The club are willing to offer the player a fresh two year deal, but the Brazilian insists it is either a three-year contract or nothing.
Willian says he would “sign a contract tomorrow” – as long as his demands at Chelsea are met.
Speaking on YouTube, Willian said: “This is what I asked the club for, three years of contract. If you give me that, I’ll get the pen and sign the contract tomorrow.”
The forward has scored 63 goals in more than 330 appearances for the London club, helping them to two Premier League titles.
Recently it was gathered that he would not be joining Major League Soccer (MLS) side Inter Miami owned by the legendary David Beckham.
The newly recognized MLS side are understood to have offered the Chelsea winger whose contract expires at the end of the season a lucrative deal.
According to the Telegram, Man United legend, Beckham had a one-on-one talk with the Brazilian attacker with a three-year deal being offered to him.
Meanwhile, Ugurcan Cakir could be a long term replacement for Chelsea number one Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been unconvincing in the Blues' bumpy ride in the Premier League in the 2019-20 season.
Kepa was signed from Atletico Bilbao for £71.6million in 2018 and has failed to live up to the billing as Frank Lampard is in desperate search for a replacement.
Chelsea have in the past made contacts with Ajax goalie Andre who is available for just £26m and Man United's on loan shot-stopper Dean Henderson at Sheffield United.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has downplayed speculation surrounding his future at Stamford Bridge.
The former Napoli star had formed an important part of Frank Lampard's side at the start of the season but he has since been frozen out of the squad.
Jorginho has been limited to just 10 minutes of game play since the resumption of the Premier League, fueling speculation he could depart the Blues this summer.
