Talent manager and entrepreneur Ubi Franklin has taken to his social media page to share a testimony on behalf of his aunt.
Ubi said that his aunt was kidnapped two weeks ago in Calabar. According to him, he woke up to the news that she had been released after a ransom was paid.
Appreciating God for coming through for his family, the entrepreneur said that he sang the entire night.

Ubi then urged his followers to be cautious as they go about their daily activities.
"I woke up this morning to very exciting news. My aunt who was kidnapped two weeks ago regained her freedom after ransom was paid early in the week in Calabar. Please stay safe and be courteous. Thank you God," his post read.
The talent manager also shared the photo of his aunt who he describes as his second mummy.
The rate of insecurity in the country calls for a state of emergency, sadly, it seems that the government is unbothered by the plight of its citizens.
In Nigeria, kidnappers are unbothered about the status of the person they are kidnapping. In the case where it is a wealthy person, they demand a ransom. And in this situation, the family of a kidnapped person isn't bothered about the ransom but that their relative is released to them hale and hearty.
