Two-time boxing heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua recently melted hearts online after he was filmed engaging in a passionate conversation with an 87-year-old female fan.
The heavyweight champion is still nursing a stubborn knee injury but took some time to recover in Spain where he linked up with quite the unique fan.
During his visit to a popular La Sala restaurant, Joshua is seen interacting with an elderly fan as he asks her which boxers she has been following recently.
The 30-year-old seemingly threw caution to the wind as he was seen holding hands and being in close proximity to the lady as they engaged in an interesting conversation about boxing.
In all fairness, the whole scene was just delightful to watch.
The video was shared by one Haltham Osman who hailed Joshua for his sportsmanship.
“87 years and she is a huge fan. God bless her and God bless my brother for his lovely heart,” Osman shared on Instagram.
Having injured his knee while running, the heavyweight champion was forced to wear a leg brace as a precautionary measure.
As far as his legacy is concerned, Joshua is set to face off for the first time with arch rival Tyson Fury.
The two, to the delight of fans, agreed a two-fight deal in 2021 only if they both emerge victorious in their next bouts.
Joshua takes on Kubrat Pulev with his WBO belts on the line, while Fury will defend his WBC belt against Deontay Wilder on December 19 in a hype Las Vegas fight.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Anthony Joshua was taunted with chants singing in support of Tyson Fury while holidaying in Marbella, Spain.
The IBF, IBO, WBO and WBA champion was being accompanied by his entourage when fans started singing "There's only one Tyson Fury!" and AJ jokingly responded with a middle finger.
The 30-year-old was busy having fun posing for selfies when these supposed fans of Fury approached him as he walked away from them.
