13-year-old girl from Akwa Ibom reported missing

- A young girl, Abasiono Udofot Pius, from Akwa Ibom, has been declared missing

- Abasiono was last seen on Wednesday, July 15, at Nung Oku Park in Uyo

- The missing girl was said to be on her way from Eket

An online social service, Giditrafffic which started in September 2011, has reported that a 13-year-old girl from Akwa Ibom, Abasiono Udofot Pius, has been missing since Wednesday, July 15.

According to Giditraffic on its official and verified Twitter page, Abasiono was last seen at Nung Oku Park in Uyo, the state capital.

The service revealed that the missing girl was on her way from Eket.

A Twitter user (identified as Lionezz) who shared the development on the platform urged anyone who might have seen the girl or has useful information that can lead security agents to locate her to call the telephone numbers: 08030930873, 07035032671, 0703628781 and 08072478687.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that a mother with the Facebook name Nelo AyoWinter Atuanya earlier called for help to locate her missing 11-year-old son called Chiemezie.

In a post she made on the platform on Thursday, July 9, she asked anybody who has seen her son in Onitsha, Fegge, and upper Iweka environs to contact her.

A recent report reaching Legit.ng said that she has found the child. In a Facebook post she made on Friday, July 10, she said that people's prayers worked. The joyous mother said she is on her way to see the child.

Also, the mother of the children who were kidnapped in Ojoo area of Ibadan, Oyo state, on Sunday, April 26, cried out for help in a new video as she appealed to the abductors of her twins.

In the emotionally laden video, the woman told the kidnappers to consider the number of years she has had to wait before she had the kids.

As she spoke, she kept sobbing as she gestured pleadingly and almost totally broke down in tears. The mother also told the kidnappers that whatever thing they want, her husband will do it.

Towards the end of the video, she said: "Please return my kids, I don't have anybody except God. Consider the labour pains I went through and return them."
