The Red Devils will now be facing serious competition from Italian side Napoli who are also interested in signing Osimhen.
Osimhen and Napoli chiefs have been involved in serious transfer talks in which the Nigerian even traveled to Italy to see Gattuso and his chiefs.
But Manchester United have not given up on the possibility of them having Osimhen this summer and they are ready to go for him.
According to reporter Ciro Venerato, Manchester United chiefs recently contacted the agent of Osimhen over a move to Old Trafford.
