Education is no doubt an important factor in the lives of many people. However, not everyone has been lucky enough to get the right and much-needed knowledge through education.
Many times, some people are educationally deficient due to lack of funds and opportunity or lack of adequate and proper education.
Well, Nigerian singer, Patoranking, has decided to use his influence to help promising students across Africa get an education.
The music star recently awarded 10 students fully paid scholarships. In a post shared on Instagram, Patoranking revealed that some exceptional young people across Africa were selected after reviewing hundreds of applications.
The lucky students were selected from across Africa including Ghana, Rwanda, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, etc.
The singer wrote: “After reviewing hundreds of applications from exceptional young people across Africa, we’re excited to announce that the inaugural Patoranking Scholars have been selected!
The Patoranking Scholars will be rewarded with 100% paid tuition and a once in a lifetime opportunity of being part of the next generation of extraordinary African leaders and entrepreneurs at ALU....The Time is Now. God Bless You All.”

This is not the first of the singer's effort to get people educated. Legit.ng had earlier reported on how Patoranking revealed that he was sponsoring 150 kids from his hometown to university level.
The singer shared the information in response to a troll after he revealed his scholarship program for students. The troll told him to start from his home town.
Patoranking then revealed how he currently takes care of 150 children from his hometown, ranging from primary to secondary and university level.
He wrote: “I’m currently taking care of 150 kids in my hometown. And this ranges from primary to secondary and university..so shut up...Ok.”
