Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick has insisted that the body will not beg Arsenal teenage sensation Bukayo Saka to play for the Super Eagles.
The 18-year-old versatile player who can play as a full back and a winger has been one of the discoveries of the 2019-20 season.
He broke into the Gunners senior team late in 2018 and the youngster has gone ahead to score four goals and 11 assists in 41 appearances across competitions.
The utility player is fast becoming one of Mikel Arteta's choice players this campaign having featured in 25 Premier League matches so far.

Saka was an 85th-minute substitution for the North Londoners in their 2-1 win over Liverpool earlier in the week and his ability to overlap and recover in time makes him a special player.
However, Pinnick doesn't seem to disagree with the player's expertise, he just would not want his administration to go betting any player, at least not anymore.
“There are many players that play like Bukayo Saka in Nigeria. We don’t want to go begging any player,” Pinnick stated in an Instagram live chat on Thursday.
Nigeria have been caught in the charade of trying to persuade some players to commit their international future to their fatherland - some of which have materialised while others, failed.
The likes of Ola Aina, Victor Moses, Peter Odemwingie, Jamilu Collins, Tyronne Ebuehi, Joe Aribo and a few others are already a part of the Eagles set-up.
Tammy Abraham, Fikayo and Jordan Ibe are among those who embarrassed the NFF over their move to have them play for Nigeria.
Meanwhile, it is clear Gernot Rohr will give opportunities to Nigerian players who are ready to play for his team in a bid to build a team and achieve greatness in the process.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Bukayo Saka has finally ended speculation over his future at Arsenal after the Gunners announced on Wednesday, July 1, that the Englishman has signed a new contract.
This latest development will come as a great one for all Arsenal fans who have been worried and thinking that Bukayo Saka would probably leave this summer.
Paris Saint-Germain are one of the clubs interested in the signing of Bukayo Saka as the side are known for giving young talents the chance to soar.
