Luis Suarez has urged his team-mate Lionel Messi to consider his happiness as well as his family before making a decision on his Barcelona future.
Reports from Spain have it that the Argentine is threatening to leave the Catalan club when his contract expires in the summer of 2021 after he was fingered for many issues at the club.
According to Spanish outlet Cadena Ser radio, the Argentine star has called off negotiations regarding the renewal of his present contract which he signed in 2017.
The 33-year-old star and his father Jorge had been in contract talks with Barcelona management lately, but the player his yet to put pen to paper.

It was gathered that Messi is upset with the club’s board members with leaked media reports suggesting he is the one masterminding events at Camp Nou.
The Argentine was reported not to be pleased with coach Quique Setien's tactics against Real Madrid which Messi shouted that this cannot work against Los Blancos.
However in a turn, Suarez says the six-time Ballon d’Or winner is happy at the club and that he could not imagine the player in another club’s jerseys.
"I don’t see Messi playing for any other team," Suarez added. "Leo will take the decision based on what’s best for him and with his family in mind. Being his friend, I would always recommend that he plays where he feels comfortable and happy."
Legit.ng earlier reported that Inter Milan have reportedly concluded to lure Anthony Martial away from Old Trafford this summer.
The Frenchman has been superb for Manchester United in recent times and the Italian League giants are hoping they can secure his services.
However, Martial is contracted to the Red Devils until 2024, while his current value is around £60 million - a fee that might be too much for Inter to cough up at the moment.
