Spanish League club Levante are reportedly planning to make a move for Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo this summer.

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner joined Leganes permanently in 2019 on a five-year deal valued around €5 million - ending his seven years unfruitful reign with Chelsea.

However, with Los Pepineros battling relegation this season, The Frogs have lined the Super Eagles centre-back up as one of their targets according to Complete Sport quoting Marca.

Though Leganes are yet to name their price for the former Blues star, they will definitely hope to make a profit from the initial amount they paid to sign him last year.

Meanwhile, the 2019 AFCON bronze medal winner will be out for the remainder of the ongoing season after suffering a hamstring injury in a league game against Sevilla last month.

He only lasted for just seven minutes before being helped out of the game. The defender made 23 appearances across competitions for his present team, scoring once in the process.
