Asisat Oshoala: Super Falcons striker among Barcelona players who modeled club’s new kits

Asisat Oshoala has featured among other Barcelona stars who modeled the club’s new home kits ahead of the 2020/2021 season.

The Catalan club posted a video of their players including Lionel Messi as they donned the latest outfits of the club as seen on their verified Twitter account.

It also featured top Blaugrana stars like Gerard Pique, Sergie Roberto, Luis Suarez, Antoinne Griezmann and Frankie De Jong.

Barcelona’s new home kit bears striking similarities to the strip worn during the 2010/11 season, during which the club won the UEFA Champions League, LaLiga and Spanish Super Cup titles.

The Nike logo returns to Barca’s famed Blaugrana stripes, enclosed in a gold border, while the gold crew neck collar worn a decade ago also replaces the V-neck cut that has been used in recent seasons.

The front of the kit is adorned by the club’s principal sponsor Rakuten, while Beko feature as the sleeve sponsors on the left arm.

The name of the charitable organisation Unicef, who are long-time partners with Barca, is emblazoned on the small of the back.

Only recently, Oshoala took to social media to show her fans and loved ones her new orange hairstyle telling her critics to see the beauty in her.

The Nigerian star is no doubt one of the best female strikers in the world considering what she has achieved so far in her football career.

For the past three months, the four-time African best female footballer has been wearing a gold blonde hairstyle before she decided to change her look.

And her fans and followers on social media have been appreciating her new look since she posted the photos on Sunday, July 12.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Rinsola Babajide has signed another two-year contract with Liverpool after she has impressed since joining the club from rivals Watford in 2018.

The 21-year-old has scored a total of eight goals for the club in her 33 appearances in all competitions to finish as the club’s top scorer.

Rinsola also bagged the Player of the Month award in January and she is delighted to have renewed her contract with the club for another two years.
