- Hakim Ziyech scored nine goals for Ajax last season and had 13 in the previous one
- Chelsea agreed a £45million transfer deal for the Moroccan in January 2020
- The 27-year-old has officially arrived the Cobham training centre to train with new team-mates
Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech has arrived Stamford Bridge as he was pictured training with the Blues for the first time on Saturday, July 11.
Chelsea had in February agreed to terms with Dutch champions Ajax over the signing of Moroccan midfielder for a fee reported to be £45million.
A statement by Ajax said that Ziyech will be moving to Stamford Bridge in the next summer, ending reports linking him to other top clubs in Europe.
With Ziyech deal confirmed, Chelsea have believe to have found a worthy successor for Eden Hazard who departed the club in last summer for Real Madrid after seven seasons.
The 27-year-old has officially arrived at Chelsea and was snapped in Blues training gear on Saturday as he prepares for life in the Premier League.
Ziyech will not feature in Chelsea’s final four games this season, but will get himself up to speed ahead of the quick turnaround before the next campaign.
The new season will start in either August or September and Ziyech will hope to become familiar with his team-mates before the 2020/21 campaign kicks off.
It is understood that 125 copies of the Audi brand were manufactured and the 27-year-old is one of the proud owners of the supercar.
The car is worth approximately £177,000, more than half of the amount Ziyech would earn when he starts life with the west London club.
He scored nine goals for the Amsterdam based outfit including three Champions League strikes at the just concluded season, as well as 13 in the 2018-19 season.
Legit.ng earlier reported that West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has reportedly emerged as top transfer target for Premier League giants Chelsea this summer.
The Blues have already completed the signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech and are hoping to add the Englishman to their fold.
According to SunSport, Frank Lampard is looking for a quality pair of legs in the heart of his defence next campaign.
Though Rice is a defensive midfielder, the manager is hoping he can draft him into the central defensive role at Stamford Bridge.
