Premier League giants Liverpool are now reportedly scared of losing captain Jordan Henderson for the start of the next English topflight season in which the Reds will begin as champions.
With four games to the end of the ongoing Premier League season, Liverpool have already been named the new champions, but will wait till the last day before lifting the trophy.
Although the Reds' captain Henderson is expected to lift the Premier League title, but there is now fear over his availability for the start of next term.
This is as a result of the injury the England international suffered during his side's impressive win over Brighton at Anfield.
Henderson was forced off after a second-half collision with Yves Bissouma and underwent a scan on his return to Merseyside to determine whether he sustained ligament damage.
According to the report from Daily Mail, Liverpool handler Jurgen Klopp is already thinking about the possibility of his captain starting next season with them because of his current injury.
“I know it will not be nothing,'' Liverpool boss Klopp explained, according to the report.
Henderson has been playing for Liverpool for the past nine years, and last season was glorious for the Englishman as he lifted the Champions League title.
The 30-year-old will now be waiting for Liverpool's last game of the season against Chelsea on July 22, which is the day he will lift the Premier League title.

According to the latest report from UK Sun, negotiations between Liverpool and Bayern Munich is going on and the deal is expected to cost the Blues a massive £31 million.
The report added that the Anfield landlords will first pay Bayern Munich the sum of £27m and will roll out the balance on bonuses' basis.
Alcantara has been playing for Bayern Munich for the past seven years and the Spaniard has made 230 appearances for the German champions.
