- Matteo Guendouzi has been playing for Arsenal for the past two seasons
- The Frenchman has however been frozen out of the first squad after issues with Arteta
- Guendouzi is reported to have had a bust up with Arteta during pre-season in Dubai
French professional footballer, Matteo Guendouzi, who plays for Premier League side Arsenal is now facing the possibility of leaving the North London club over reported feud with boss Mikel Arteta.
The 21-year-old joined Arsenal last two seasons from Lorient under former Arsenal boss Unai Emery and has been impressive since he got to the first team at the Emirates stadium.
Last season, the Frenchman was among the Arsenal players who reached the final of the Europa League before losing the final against Chelsea.
Presently, Guendouzi is not having things rosy at the Emirates stadium as he has been frozen out of the first team by Arsenal boss Arteta.
On June 20, Guendouzi made many Arsenal fans and coaching crew angry for his attitude in the defeat against Brighton.
He was livid at how goalkeeper Leno suffered an injury after being attacked by Neal Maupay, in which the Arsenal stopper was taken out for treatment.
According to the report on UK Sun, Guendouzi also had issues with Arsenal coaching crew during their pre-season tour in Dubai.
The report added that the Frenchman had a bust up with a teammate in which Arteta was so angry with his attitude.
Tensions continued to bubble away back at the team hotel with the midfielder and manager involved in a shouting match.
Brazilian defender, David Luiz, was even said to have begged Guendouzi to sort things out, which he ignored.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are still fighting and hoping that they can finish the season among the top four so as to qualify for the Champions League.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Premier League giants Arsenal announced that Brazilian star Gabriel Martinelli has committed his future to the North London side by signing a long term deal.
This latest development will be a welcome one for all Arsenal fans who are still celebrating the contract extension signed by forward Bukayo Saka.
Saka was heavily linked with a move away from the Gunners, but the Englishman decided to stay put at the Emirates stadium.
Clubs in Europe have also shown concern for the signing of Martinelli, but Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was able to convince him to put pen to paper for a new deal.
