Manchester United boss Ole Solskjaer has explained that one of his priorities at the end of the ongoing Premier League season is to keep France international Paul Pogba.

There has been serious uncertainty surrounding the future of Paul Pogba at Manchester United with reports linking him with a move away from Old Trafford.

Last year July, the World Cup winner explained that he wanted a new challenge with serious speculation that he could be on his way to join Spanish giants Real Madrid.

But Manchester United chiefs were able to convince Paul Pogba to stay at Old Trafford even though the Red Devils failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Before the season was suspended, Paul Pogba played only eight games for Manchester United in all competitions before he sustained injury in December last year.

The ankle injury he sustained forced Solskjaer and his chiefs to enter the transfer market where they bought Portugal international Bruno Fernandes.

According to the latest report on UK Sun, Ole Solskjaer has been impressed with Paul Pogba's attitude since football returned to Europe and wants the Frenchman to stay.

“Hopefully we can do something.

"Since Paul has come back he’s looking better and better. He’s enjoying his football and let’s see where it takes us.

“We want to keep the best players around the club. We want to build a squad for the future,'' Ole Solskjaer explained.
