Man City vs Newcastle ended 5-0 in favour as the former Premier League champions bounced back to winning ways after a shock defeat to Southampton.
Goals from Gabriel Jesus, Riyad Mahrez, David Silva and Raheem Sterling, as well as an own goal from Federico Fernandez, was enough to earn all three points.
The Citizens controlled most part of the first 45 minutes as they kept asking questions in the opening exchanges.

Similar to the first, Kevin De Bruyne broke lose from the left-flank in the box and his cut-back was met by Mahrez to make it 2-0.
Phil Foden had the chance to make it 3-0 but his effort went just wide off the post after capitalizing on a terrible mistake from Jonjo Shelvey.
The Englishman had another gilt-edge chance in the opening minutes of the second half but his shot went wide.
City grabbed the third in the 58th minute after Fernandez ran into Jesus in the box and put the ball into the back of his own net to make it 3-0.
There was no stopping for the outgoing champions as club captain Silva scored an exquisite free-kick six minutes after the hour mark to make it 4-0.
Sterling put the icing on the cake with a cool finish to make it 5-0 and continue's City magnificent scoring form in the English topflight division.
It was a one-sided all through as Pep Guardiola's side outclassed their opponents who played a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture at St, James' Park.
