A Nigerian lady simply identified as Deborah has appealed to a mother to come back for her child after abandoning the baby with her in church on Sunday, July 5.

In a video that emerged on social media, Deborah said the mother said she wanted to go buy something and left the baby with her.

Deborah said since the woman left, she has not come back for her baby.

The lady said she does not have the wherewithal to take care of the baby, urging the mother to come back for her.

She pleaded: “Mummy baby please come and carry your beautiful child. I’m not that strong to take care of your baby please."

Governor Uzodinma who met his adopted son in church on Sunday, July 5, said the boy reminds him of his life trajectory.

After the meeting, the governor wrote: "Today, I was joined in church by my adopted son, Oluomachi Opara.

"It is our first physical meeting as Father and Son and I am glad to welcome this newest member of my family.
