Popular Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has been hailed by his fans and followers in the online community on the occasion of his birthday.

The controversial music star who claims to be the one and only African Giant clocked 29 on Thursday, July 2.

Lovers of the singer flooded their respective social media pages with birthday messages as they celebrated the Wondaful crooner on his special day.

On microblogging platform, Twitter, many posted photos and videos of the Nigerian singer as they reeled out some of his major accomplishments since he emerged in the music industry.

Just recently, the one-time Grammy-nominated artist emerged as the winner of the Best International Act at the Black Entertainment Television (BET) awards. The win made Burna Boy make history as the first artist to emerge as winner of the category twice in a row.

In a related Burna Boy story, Legit.ng previously reported that an aggrieved lady identified as @iam_mystiquee on Twitter said that Burna Boy was undeserving of his BET award.

According to the lady, the singer was given the award so that peace could reign. @iam_mystiquee also noted that she would start a petition for the award to be taken away from Burna Boy.
