The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has made clarifications on the conditions of 50 citizens arrested while trying to enter Ghana illegally.

In a series of tweets on Twitter by the commission, the Nigerian consular team appealed to the immigration officials not to charge the Nigerian citizens to court after they were arrested.

The immigration officials agreed and the Nigerians will be returning home with the next set of stranded Nigerians after undergoing COVID-19 tests as instructed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
