Joel Matip will miss the rest of the season due to a foot injury he sustained during their clash against Everton at Goodison Park.
The Camerounian defender was missing in the Reds demolition of Crystal palace and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
"This season I will be not back on the pitch but for next season, I hope I’m going to be quite early a direct help for the team,” quoted by Goal.

The 28-year-old has endured an injury-plagued campaign limiting him to just 13 appearances in all competitions this season.
Matip suffered a knee problem that ruled him out between October and January and had featured in nine matches in Liverpool's title-winning campaign in 30 years.
He joined Liverpool from Bundesliga side Schalke in 2016 and has played 111 games, scoring five goals for the Merseyside club.
Matip provided the assist that helped Divock Origi score the all-important winner in last season's Champions League final against Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Andre Wisdom has landed in the hospital after he was stabbed multiple times by suspected hoodlums in the city of Liverpool.
According to the BBC the former Reds defender drove to the Merseyside to pick up a relative when the incident occurred.
Wisdom was involved in Derby County's 2-1 win over Reading at the weekend before going to Toxteth/Wavertree area to pick a family member.
